Dip Resin Gallon
Dip Resin is a glue that bonds the powder to the nail. The thickness of that resin greatly affects how the powder will work on the nail. The thicker the resin the thicker the layer will be on the nail. While all three of our resins can technically be used as a top and base. There are some trends that seem more popular. The thin is most commonly used for the base layers to avoid building up the nail too quickly. Thick is most commonly chosen as the top because it is easiest to get perfectly smooth. Medium is the original resin for dip. Because it falls in between it is common for people to use Medium as their top and base. This eliminated the need to maintain two separate products. We have seen beautiful nails done with every combination possible. We recommend requesting samples or buying the dip kit to determine your preference before buying the bigger sizes!
Thin is more commonly used as a gel base.
Medium is most commonly used for Top or Base as it is a happy medium.
Thick is more commonly used as the top for a more shiny finish.
